Stella McCartney Launches Falabella Eyewear

Ah, Stella McCartney — the world of wonderful prints, playful silhouettes, and of course, the Falabella bag. The iconic chain style expands further with the launch of Stella McCartney's Falabella Eyewear. The Falabella bag is about as ubiquitous in New York City as Dunkin' Donuts are in New England. They're on the subway, at work, even at the gym. And why wouldn't they be? The gorgeous chain-lined bags practically sell themselves. Seems as if McCartney is running with this with the launch of her new eyewear design: two different styles of sunnies with the gold chain details. Pretty badass.

The frames come in five colors: black, tortoise, rose, pink, and matte green. The line, which is done with a partnership with Kering Eyewear, also contains a kids' collection that features cat eye styles. A limited edition of Falabellas will also be available. 500 black Falabellas with hand-stitched gold metal chains will be sold at the retailer's stores and online, as well as in department stores, according to WWD. The frames come for a cool price of $675. I encourage you to start saving up.

The first shape, a cat-eyed sassy frame, features the delicate chain resting right on top of the frame. As for the squared frame, the larger chain detail is placed on the two temples, running symmetrically. The limited edition, by far the most luxurious, also come in a more square shape, and have the chain both on top and on the temples. Best of both worlds, I guess!
