Kristen Stewart Just Killed It In 'Marie Claire'

by Rosie Narasaki

We've known for a while now that Kristen Stewart is capable of slaying just about every editorial photoshoot that comes her way — and her latest cover/feature in the August edition of Marie Claire is definitely no exception. She gave her signature smolder on the cover (seriously, she's giving Derek Zoolander's Blue Steel a serious run for its money), and her editorial photos were, if possible, even more fab.

Kristen happened to be gracing the cover of Marie Claire's Denim Issue, which is pretty fitting for the famously laid-back actress. Judging from various paparazzi shots, it looks like she has quite the collection of carefully-curated and artfully-ripped jeans. So, as you might expect, she sported some denim on the cover; in fact, she rocked some truly chic distressed stone washed jeans (which went quite nicely with an intricately pailette-covered sweater).

It didn't stop with the cover, though. Within the pages of the magazine, she wore denim in just about every form imaginable, from acid-washed slouchy boyfriend jeans paired with summery white dresses to enviably chic denim jackets paired with lacy blouses. So, if you're looking to denim-ize your wardrobe, I think you've definitely found a new source of inspiration. Plus, her makeup look was off the charts — it featured some clean, graphic eyeliner, deep matte maroon lips, and of course, some spectacularly on-fleek brows. Let's take a look!

Who knew there were so many chic ways to style denim, eh? And who knew staples like rolled-cuff oversized boyfriend jeans and standard denim jackets could look so high-fashion?
