In 2010, long before Katy Perry was appropriating Japanese culture and Russell Brand was starting revolutions, the then-couple was very much in love. So much in love that Perry surprised Brand with a gift that was out-of-this-world (I hate myself for making the pun, but I had to): She gave her husband a $200,000 trip to outer space on Virgin Galactic's maiden voyage to space. The package included five minutes of gravity-free floating, a nice view of the big blue marble, and an astronaut wing pin.
Olive You So Much
Angelina Jolie is a global proponent for peace — after all, she's a Goodwill Ambassador to the UN. So perhaps she was trying to end an argument when she offered her parter Brad Pitt an olive branch. Or, more accurately, an olive tree that was over 200 years old and cost $18,500. She must have really screwed up.
