Nicki Minaj wore a pretty-in-pink dress, sharing on Instagram a sweet picture of her outfit while out at a club. The singer has recently sparked some major conversations via social media lately, but this particular post was devoid of controversy.

The picture she shared with her barbz was snapped at a DC nightclub, where the star sported a simple yet stunning look. Wearing a conservatively-cut pink dress with longish sleeves, a high scoop neck, and a lacy pattern, Minaj posed gracefully next to (naturally) a pretty huge Chanel bag.

Though the rapper is definitely known more for her sometimes-outrageous looks (I still kind of miss her pink hair days), her more mature ensembles are winners as will. This particular outfit clearly shows what direction the performer is going in, style-wise. This freshly-sophisticated aesthetic is giving Minaj major style points, and making her a little more style-inspo friendly.

Though let's face it — everyone seems to be taking the pink hair trend to heart. Who doesn't miss Minaj's pastel locks? But this dress is for sure an easier pink to get away with, especially if you're not the "crazy colored locks" type.
