This drop was significant.

The population loss meant more empty houses, boarded buildings, and closed up shops along the once thriving neighborhoods of East and West Baltimore, and it meant less resources and economic opportunities for the city’s residents. Fortunately for the people of Baltimore, people like Bree Jones are leading the charge for equitable development to return Charm City to its former radiance.
