And then there are some less obvious ways to celebrate Earth Day, that are just a bit tastier. For me, Earth Day is all about establishing good habits and nurturing your relationship with the planet. The best way I know how to do that, is to be a conscious eater — hence, these easy Earth Day recipes for 2017.
Our nutrition relies on the planet's condition. If Earth is clean and healthy, it can produce nutritious foods for us to sustain ourselves with. So paying attention to where your food comes from, learning about the quality of the soil, and understanding the methods of farmers enhances your relationship with not only your food, but your planet.
So this Earth Day, make a big healthy meal, filled with fresh foods that keep your relationship with your planet close. Load your plate with veggies and foods that are not processed or prepared too heavily.
