Vegan March Madness Recipe Ideas

by Kiersten Hickman

OK, let me guess why you’ve clicked on this article: Your friends want to throw a huge March Madness party for the big games, and you’re frightened that you will go the whole game without eating a single lick of food from the snack table. Because, well, you’re a vegan, and your friends are constantly forgetting that small detail. I’m sure it’s not like they avoid providing vegan recipes for March Madness parties, it just kind of slipped their mind. They’ve probably been spending months dreaming about those crockpot dips and sliders from the Super Bowl party, and were impatiently anticipating the moment in which they can enjoy those foods once again.

But not you. The Super Bowl was the absolute worst because, well, you didn’t eat much. Maybe a nibble of the lettuce and tomatoes provided with the burger toppings, or snagged a few chips and salsa for those few moments before the bowl was completely gobbled away. By that point you just stood on the side of the snack table watching as friends devoured those cheese dips, burgers, and wings — stuck between feeling utterly disgusted and hungry by the sight of it.

Don’t give in, my friend. Don’t relive the horrors of the Super Bowl, but come prepared with one of these 13 delicious vegan recipes for March Madness this year:
