Now that Fashion Month has reached its last leg in Paris, we finally have time to consider all the new and exciting trends in beauty this season. The fall runways have been full of fresh takes on the smokey eye, body paint is now officially a *thing*, and glitter has never looked more refined or wearable.
Of course, all of the incredible looks from New York, London, Milan, and now Paris are thanks to the talented makeup artists working behind the scenes. So, naturally we had to know exactly what products they’re looking to purchase now that our bronzed summer glow is fading and fall is officially in full swing. Here are the makeup and skincare products three beauty insiders can’t wait to stock up on.

“As it gets colder, I get very excited about layering — layering my clothes and layering my skin care. I adore Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum. Then I like to layer In Fiore Botanical Water over the top. It makes me feel very special.”

“Fall may be one of my favorite seasons for makeup. The warm tones in the URBAN DECAY Naked Heat Palette are perfect heading into the cooler months. Skin care is also super important. As the weather begins to crisp, it can dry out the skin, so my go-to product to combat this is the LA MER Renewal Oil. Pro tip: Mix it with your foundation for a super dewy finish. And finally, I can't live without my ICONIC LONDON Liquid Drops. Pop it onto the high points of the cheeks for a glow that never goes out of style!”

“Colder months mean slightly more coverage. I have had Koh Gen Do Aqua foundation in my kit for quite some time but truly fell in love with it during Fashion Week [at the] Sandy Liang show. It has beautiful, breathable coverage that truly looks like second skin. I received YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain earlier this month and have been testing it out on myself in a deep red — 10 Carmine Statement. I am obsessed with the color payoff and finish. My lips feel nourished, and [it’s] not drying like other long wearing lip stains. I also love monochromatic beauty for fall, [and] I’ve been using Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Color Stick for a natural sheer bronzy wash on the eyes, cheeks and lips.”
