What To Read When You Really Need To Smile
Finding a book that makes you smile is like finding a new best friend. Don't get me wrong, I'm always up for a good book-induced cry. But there is something particularly wonderful about a book that puts a grin on your face. Some books are like portable bundles of joy, and when you soak them in, the world becomes a little brighter.
I'm definitely one of those people who is prone to laughing out loud at the book she's reading, making me look a little crazy to anybody who happens to be around. But I don't care! When a book is able to spark that energy in me, it feels so good.
Even on the hardest days, reading can be the best medicine. By opening up a book, you can step away from your troubles and let the author take the reigns. And for me, some of the most fun books are the ones that talk about life's challenges and put their own humorous spin on them.
