Adele is no stranger to awards shows. The singer has won nine Brit awards, a Golden Globe, 15 Grammy awards including the handful she just took home for her album 25, and of course, an Academy Award. That's right, Adele even scooped up an Oscar for Best Original Song for "Skyfall" in 2013. While Adele didn't attend this year's Oscars, that didn't stop the singer from joining in the festivities on social media. Adele posted a special message for her friend Emma Stone after she won her Best Actress Oscar.

On Twitter and Instagram, the singer posted an adorable pic of herself standing in front of a the television showing Stone giving her Oscar acceptance speech. As if the friendship could be any more perfect, Adele's congrats message to Stone proves they are true friendship goals.

Adele and Stone have known each other for a while, and they were famously spotted getting dinner with Jennifer Lawrence in 2015. It's not clear how close of pals the stars have become since, but given that they are both hilarious and talented women, odds are the two get along pretty great. At the very least, Adele is a big fan of Stone's work, and after the awards she reached out on Instagram to give a huge congrats.

Adele captioned the photo "Ah Emma ❤️ And Moonlight, congratulations so so wonderful ⭐️". In the candid snap Adele stands in front of the TV with a huge smile and thumbs up about the win. The singer's congrats is particularly resonant given the nature of Stone's win, which was for her role the musical La La Land. In the film, Stone plays an aspiring actor named Mia who sings and dances her way through a love affair with a jazz musician played by Ryan Gosling. Stone might not have the kind of pop music pipes that Adele uses to rack in the musical awards, but the singer's message is an undoubtable vote for Stone's musical talents.

It's clear that Adele tuned in for the entire show, as the second half of her post gives a shout out to Moonlight. The Barry Jenkins' film won Best Picture after an envelope fumble, but the cast and crew finally got to take the stage. The film moved many people, and it, too, got a special shout out from Adele. Even though the star missed out on the festivities, she found a way to be there in spirit.
