This Charitable Tee From Aerie Will Remind You To Put Your 'Girls' First
With October right around the corner, there are countless of ways to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But with brands pinkifying their products, it's hard to know which items are actually making an impact. With this collab, however, you don't need to question. The Aerie and cancer nonprofit Bright Pink have joined together to create an adorable shirt that promotes and gives back to a great cause.
Aerie has been honoring breast and ovarian cancer awareness with Bright Pink for eight years now. Each year the duo team up to bring diffrent items to shoppers looking to have a real impact.
This time, the two brands are joining forces to create the 'Take Care Of Your Girls' shirt. The long-sleeve top is grey with white lettering, and is available in stores and online. Ready for the best part? One-hundred percent of proceeds go towards Bright Pink. Yes, that's every single cent of profits.
You can snag the shirt, and some statement pins, on the Aerie website right now. If you're looking to buy in-stores, make sure to call and make sure they have enough to go around.
The top costs $24.95, which is a small price to pay to help a babe in need. After all, not many brands opt to give all of the proceeds when they team up with organizations.

As if all of that wasn't already enough, Aerie is taking the collaboration even further. On Sept. 28, the brand is matching five percent of all sales on their website and giving that sum directly to Bright Pink. So shop anything your little heart desires knowing that you're giving back to an amazing cause.
It gets even better than that too, if you can believe it. Aerie is also bringing Bright Pink ambassadors to four East Coast store locations later that night to provide educational resources and answer any questions about breast and ovarian health, according to the website.
The locations for the event are Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York, King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, PA, Northshore Mall in Boston, and Woodfield Mall in Chicago. So stop by and get educated if you are in the area.
This is far from the first time that Aerie has gotten involved in the name of breast and ovarian cancer awareness. The clothing brand comes up with a new charitable design every single year. In the past there's been a bright pink bralette and other shirt designs.
Just like the past designs, the " Take Care Of Your Girls" shirt will be limited edition. Once it's gone, it's gone for good.
As of Sept. 28, the shirts are available in sizes XXS to XXL, and all sizes are still in-stock. There's no telling how fast that this collab item will sell out though, especially when people get word of the amazing charitable aspect.

Out of all the charitable collection coming up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this is definitely one to watch. Between the incredible design, awareness, and 100 percent proceeds going towards the cause, you can't ask for much more in a charity partnership.
Not to mention that every time you slip it on, you'll be reminded to take care of your girls, too.
