Amandla Stenberg Debuts Shaved Head On 'Dazed'

Amandla Stenberg has come a long way since she made her debut on the big screen as Rue opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the first Hunger Games movie. Since then, she's become a major fashion icon, whether she's going to prom with Jaden Smith or putting out some epic style inspiration for us to swoon over. It appears as though she's done it again on the cover of Dazed magazine, where Stenberg's showed off her new shaved head in all of its glory.

Stenberg already glows with a level of power that most 18-year-olds could only dream of, so when she appeared on the cover with her edgy new haircut, she proved that she's totally in a league of her own. The young actress is also known for her voice in activism, especially when she's schooling the world on cultural appropriation with her video, "Don't Cash Crop On My Cornrows." With videos like this, it comes to no surprise that her hair has a level of prominence in her voice and her life.

According to Dazed, Stenberg said that shaving off all of her hair was "emotional." She then understood that her hair was a symbol of self-love, but now she realizes that the self-love is always there, whether she's got a full head of hair or not.

Can a young teen's self confidence get any stronger?!

She looked incredible then, but I'm a huge fan of her new short 'do.
