Are Kylie Cosmetics' Velvet Lip Kits Limited Edition? The New Formula Is Coming Soon

Kylie Lip Kits, featuring a liquid matte lipstick and a matching lip liner, are the hero product of Kylie Cosmetics. KLKs kickstarted the brand and Kylie Jenner has continued to introduce new shades and iterations, like the single lippies and liners. Kylie Cosmetics is launching Velvet Lip Kits on Thursday, Mar. 16 at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. There are four new shades in the pink family and the formula is being described as a "to die for," as well as extra creamy, smooth, pigmented, and non-drying. Are the Velvet versions of Kylie Lip Kits limited edition or are they a permanent addition to the brand's repertoire of products?

I have scoured all of the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram posts regarding the Velvet Lip Kits so far and nowhere are these lippies tagged as "LE." Bustle reached out to Kylie Cosmetics for further details regarding the Velvet Lip Kits and their status.

The colors are so pretty that I am already hoping the Velvet Lip Kits are a long-term product.

The current Lip Kit formula is long-lasting and richly pigmented. It's not super drying. But most long-wear mattes do tend to dry your pucker somewhat. Of course you can always moisturize lips before applying for additional hydration. But I can't wait to see how much creamier the Velvet version is.

Pretty in pinks! Charm and Dazzle are my favorites so far, but Rosie and Harmony are pretty cute, too. I want them all. #ByeMoney

The new texture is on the way and Kylie Cosmetics diehards, like myself, are already stoked.

That pigmentation is something else. All Kylie Cosmetics lip products are packed with pigment. I have several KLKs and Kylie Glosses and can attest that they do pack a colorful punch for your pout.

Kylie Cosmetics continues to grow, expand, experiment, and improve. Liquid mattes are what the brand has done so well, for so long. I am anxious to try the latest iteration of its Lip Kits.

I am always down for even more new additions to the Kylie Lip Kit lineup, be it formulation or hue.
