On Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have an, er, interesting relationship. Revelations about Jon Snow's parentage, and his potential heir to the Iron Throne, might cause a rift between the previously allied characters in the future. In real life, the actors who play these characters have a much less complicated relationship. Emilia Clarke & Kit Harington's friendship is so cute, and even people who don't watch Game of Thrones can appreciate their bond. In recent months, these two stars have appeared together all over the place, from modeling campaigns to cameos on each other's social media accounts. While their characters might be poised to feud in Westeros, these real life pals seem destined to be besties forever.

After seven years of filming the show, it's no surprise that Harington and Clarke became close. Their characters bonded in the series' most recent seasons, and it seems to have brought the two stars even closer together. Everyone in the GoT cast gets along well, and there are plenty of other well documented friendships to have come out of the show. Yet Harington and Clarke do seem to have a special connection, and these stars have a genuine appreciation for each other as actors and people. There are so many moments that prove these stars are BFF goals, and here are some of the highlights:

When They Goof Around On Set

In between takes, these two love to joke around. In a recent Instagram vid that Clarke posted, Harington pretends to be a dragon, flapping his cape in the wind. Clarke captioned the image: "I mean, JEEEZE, one pet of a dragon and he thinks he's one of them. 🤦‍♀️ #youknownothingjonsnow#butyoudoknowhowtonotgetblownoffacliffingaleforsewindssotheresalwaysthat 🕺#everypunaboutwindicanthinkofinserthere💨". In the hilarious post, Clarke urges her friend not to blow away and shares her love for puns.

When Clarke Told Him To Bend The Knee Already

In another funny moment from the GoT set, Clarke posted a selfie to Instagram complaining that Jon Snow wouldn't bend the knee. Clarke said: Wait..... did I NOT tell you guys?! Um yeah. Now if he'd only bend the bloody knee there'll be no problems.....🔥💃❄️🕺#modragonsmoproblems #igot99problemsandjonsnowisone#whichroundsmeupto100problems#youknownothingjonsnow." The hashtags on this post were also so funny, and Harington looks adorable in those glasses.

When They Discussed Filming THAT Sex Scene

In recent interview with EW, Harington and Clarke had a frank discussion about their notorious GoT sex scene. Filming explicit scenes can be awkward for any actor, but when two close friends are working together it is an even stranger experience. Both stars had some thoughts about trying to get in the right mindset for the scene. "Usually you go into a movie and meet your costar for the first time and you develop that chemistry over that time,” Harington told the publication. “But if you’ve known somebody for seven years and shared this incredible journey in your own lives together. We’re both kind of freaking out about it. I would be like, ‘What’s the sexual tension in this scene?’ and she’s like, ‘Stop talking about sexual tension!’ It’s a unique experience to be in as an actor and you know the world is watching.”

When They Smooched For Rolling Stone

The original photoshoot that Harington chose his throwback pic from is so cute, and will make you feel SUPER old. I mean, are half these characters even still alive? (Spoiler, they are). However, it does show that Clarke and Harington have been comfortable being affectionate with each other from the beginning, and in this photoshoot they even do a couple shots full on kissing. Turns out these pals may have had chemistry long before Daenerys and Jon Snow.

When They Went To A Concert Together

If anyone doubted that these actors spend time together offscreen, here's the proof. Turns out they have the same taste in music, and Clarke and her costars went to go see The Chemical Brothers. The GoT star posted a selfie with Harington and Nathalie Emmanuel from the show, and captioned it: "@thechemicalbrothers know how to get this cast on its FEET... 🙌🎉 bringing that badass beat to Bilbao baby. All the love to @nathalieemmanuel my girl never leaves a bredren in da club....😂❤️💃#shinyhappysweatypeopleparties."

...And Met The Band

Clarke also posted a photo from backstage, where she and Harington met the band. These three stars were having the best night, and she captioned the photo: "Couldn't resist a mutual appreciation society photo... EPIC NIGHT! 🙌#jonsnowknowshowtorockouttochemicalbrothers #chemicalbrothersknowhowtothrowdown#motherofelectroletherwigdown 💃@nathalieemmanuel#donttouchmygirlshairnow! 💪🏻". According to her post, the electronic duo put on a great show, and they were super excited to meet them.

When They Slayed The Emmys Together

Harington and Clarke are both stylish celebs, and their Emmy looks in 2016 were no exception. In this adorable pic, the two stars looked so cute together as they enjoyed the night's festivities.

When They Accepted A Critics Association Award Together

Clarke and Harington took some time off set to attend the Critics Association Awards and accept an honor on Game of Thrones behalf. They looked a little nervous, but their chemistry probably helped them nail that speech.

When Clarke Shared Her Thoughts On Jon and Dany's Relationship

What does Emilia Clarke think about the fact that Daenerys recent relationship with Jon Snow might be complicated by the fact that he's the character's nephew? In a recent interview with EW, she shared exactly how she thought her character might react to the news. "Ewwwww!” she told the publication. “I think that’s how it’s going to go. I get the toothbrush–”. These two stars have a great sense of humor about their characters complex plot.

When They Talked About Their First Time On Set Together

Clarke and Harington have been besties since GoT started filming, but their characters didn't meet until Season 7. "Both of us were going, ‘Ahhh what are you doing on my set!?’" Clarke told Entertainment Weekly. Apparently, while it was fun to work with Harington, his lovely locks were definitely a threat. "This is weird," she said of the experience. "There’s another Hair in town, and I don’t like it!”

When Daenerys Targaryen finds out that Jon Snow is her nephew, and therefore an obstacle in her quest for the Iron Throne, their relationship might hit a snag. No matter what's on the horizon in Westeros, Clarke and Harington's IRL friendship seems pretty unflappable. While these stars might have to duke it out onscreen, their offscreen friendship will always take the throne in the fan's hearts.
