Here's What Happened When We Transformed A NYC Hotspot Into A Tropical Oasis

It's not often a famous NYC rooftop gets transformed into a tropical oasis, but when it does, you can expect hundreds of people to show up to experience it firsthand. We partnered with OGX to celebrate a night of beauty and to kick off their very exciting #OGXHairTruths campaign. Held at PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown, guests were encouraged to share their stories about loving their hair while enjoying custom cocktails and mini bites (including lobster rolls, crab cakes, and cheeseburgers). But that's not all. There were also multiple hair and makeup booths that offered braids, colorful cat eyes, bold lip colors, and for the daring, glitter brows.

Partygoers posed in front of a tropical 'gram-worthy art installation while DJ Kalkutta played her best tracks. And thanks to the beautiful summer weather, the balcony was open for guests to mingle and enjoy NYC's scenic skyline. Check out some more of our favorite moments below!
