How Branded Editor Audrey Williams Puts Her Creative Spin On This Season's Looks

Lauren Perlstein / Bustle

With every new season I do the thing. You know, the thing where you reinvent yourself for the season by buying a whole new wardrobe? This year, it's been no different. With fall here, I'm on a mission to let my wispy summer aesthetic go in favor of a look that's a little more dramatic. I'm talking bold statement looks like a menswear-inspired suit in an unexpected color, dresses with unique silhouettes, and an overabundance of gold accessories.

After all, I see the fall version of myself as just a little bit more grown up than my summer self. Fall Audrey has a love for colors, textures, and patterns and is always willing to try something a little different, which is why, in collaboration with I.N.C. International Concepts, Created for Macy's, I've decided to put my own spin on some of this season's most sought-after looks.

There's just something so chic about a woman in a suit. I'm obsessed every time I see one of my favorite style icons rock one on the red carpet, and I knew this season would be my moment to make it happen. Because I just can't see myself in a boring black suit, finding this bold golden yellow was a literal dream come true.

Even though dresses are my summer go-to, I knew I wanted to find a way to bring them into fall. The silhouette of this dress does exactly what I wanted it to: Bring the drama. It moves so perfectly that every step I take feels like I'm gliding down my own personal runway, even if I'm only walking down the street to grab a bacon-egg-and-cheese from my corner bodega.
