Now these are glow-getters! Too Faced's Love Light highlighters will be everything to glow-seeking makeup obsessives. From the heart-shaped product to the pearl radiance, these new highlighters will help you achieve a lit-from-within glow. The Love Light Highlighters come in three shades — peachy, white, and golden. How much are the Too Faced Love Light highlighters?
They are $30 per compact. What makes them different from all the other highlighters on the market? Well, according to the press materials that Bustle received, the Love Light formula mixes the best elements of the powder, liquid, baked, and cream formulation. That leads to maj lumonisty, decadent color payoff, pearly radiance, and super silky texture.
Brand co-founder and creative guru Jerrod Blandio basically wanted to create a product that mimicked that "in love" glow. Here's the science, and it's interesting, not boring.
Blandino headed to Italy and unearthed a liquid-to-powder, freeze dry process that allows the light reflecting pigments to float and remain spherical so that they can reflect light from all angles. Other pressed power formulas and processes crush the pearls, effectively limiting how much they can reflect.
The Love Lights will be available in March as part of the Summer 2017 range.
Here are the shades. "Ray of Light" is peachy keen and I hear the Madonna song in my head. "You Light Up My Life" has more of a white tint, while "Blinded by the Light" is straight up golden.
