It feels like forever ago that Kat Von D dropped news of her Everlasting Flash program with Sephora, but lo and behold, time continues to pass. The next installment is mere hours away from dropping, so if you're a nude (lip) enthusiast and KVD diehard, today is your day. How much is Kat Von D's Everlasting Nudes Collection? If you need the set of six freshly-released nudes, here's how much you'll be paying.
Drinking in all the information the Sephora page gives us, the set runs at $99 for a $120 value. Definitely not a dirt cheap price for lipstick, but you do get six full-size Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks. And the good news is, they're all gorgeous nudes: There's Muñeca, a vibrant pinkish-apricot, Ophelia, a peach-nude, tawny rose Ludwig, cool sepia Sanctuary, Hawkwind, a warm nutmeg, and Crucifix, a hickory brown.
Which, yes, is a lot of nude for one person, especially because everyone's "nude" depends entirely on skin tone and personal preference. You could go in on the set with some lipstick-loving friends to get that cost down to a small fraction, or you could divide up some of the shades and give them as gifts if you don't want or need six nudes for yourself. But whether you'll be dispersing them or not, by all means, act fast.
As a refresher from Sephora's website, "during the first week of every month, for 48 hours only, Everlasting Flash gives you an exclusive sneak peek into a never-before-seen release," so there's not long to ponder.
The six nudes come in a clear, black plastic Ziploc à la Pat McGrath Labs (without the sequins). While there's some similarity in the colors — obviously, they're all nudes — KVD's managed an impressive range in the six shades.
More good news: If you miss out on the 48 hours (or the pressure cooker release sells out before that), literally every brand is doing nudes right now, and these KVD shades will be coming back at a later date as permanent additions. You've got options.
