I Never Thought I'd Be Into Beauty Supplements Until I Tried This Line

Kate Marin

Have you heard? Bobbi Brown, the world-renowned makeup artist, just launched a new line of beauty supplements called Evolution_18 that's all about beauty from the inside out. Walmart is the exclusive retailer and every product in the line is under $20. These formulas target specific beauty concerns, like skin elasticity, hair density, nail growth, and even bloating and digestion. The ingredients also happen to be clean and natural so you can really jumpstart your beauty routine from within. Each product promises a different outcome, but in general, you can expect glowing skin, strong nails, and shiny, healthier hair. And who doesn't want that?

I have to admit — I'm usually not a sucker for beauty supplements. I typically take your standard biotin supplement to give my poor, bleached hair all that I can before ripping its life away at my next salon visit. Other than that, a healthy diet is usually what I stand behind. But what caught my eye with Evolution_18 was not only the price point, but also the simple ingredient list that's completely decipherable.

The first product I went for was (obviously) the biotin-rich Beauty Gummy. I don't usually eat candy, but this berry flavor was so excellent that I looked forward to eating it again the following day. Did I mention the entire line is formulated without artificial colors or flavors? Now that's a gummy you can feel good about.

Next up was the Beauty Debloat Tea which is a berry-flavored powder you dissolve into a mug of warm water. I was impressed that this formula contains ashwagandha, one of my favorite Ayurvedic herbs that helps the body cope with stress. The individual serving-sized packages make this supplement great to throw in a purse for any digestion flare-ups or to keep on-hand while traveling.

A few other stand-outs were Beauty Probiotic (a delicious powder packet you pour onto the tongue), Beauty Bubbles: Hydration (think a dissolvable tablet, but with hyaluronic acid, coconut water, green tea, and pomegranate), and Beauty Grow Capsules (a powerful combination of collagen, biotin, keratin, and copper). Needless to say, I'm impressed. I've stuck with a handful of these supplements regularly just out of the sheer enjoyment of use, and find myself turning to others when I have more specific, temporary concerns. I've noticed my blonde hair growing out faster than usual and my nails feeling much more dense and breaking far less often — I've even given up my go-to nail strengthener (!).

So if you've been slow to open up to the world of beauty supplements like I was before giving Evolution_18 a go, or if you're the type of person who has a hard time sticking to a new routine, I couldn't recommend these supplements more. They're thoughtful and ingeniously packaged — almost every product can be easily taken on the go — and offer a wide range of benefits for a number of concerns. Not to mention, they're delicious and seriously fun to take, and have become a routine I look forward to daily.
