If you have no idea what true love looks like, here you go. Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed celebrated two years of marriage on Wednesday. Like many couples do, they took to Instagram to wish each other a happy anniversary — and to express just how much they love one another. Before you read their romantic messages, let me warn you that they are super mushy. Neither actor held back about how they feel about their spouse. There is no arguing that they are head over heels for each other.
This is exactly what marriage should look like. In a way, it makes me sick (in a good way), because they are so blissfully in love and have found their forever partner. Who doesn't want that? Their words may seem over-the-top to some, but they are truly beautiful.
First, there is the former Vampire Diaries star. Next to an image from their gorgeous wedding, he began, "To the most amazing human in the world." I mean, if I were Reed, I wouldn't have to hear anymore than that. To be called "the most amazing human in the world" would absolutely make me swoon. The 38-year-old continued, "Thank you for 2 incredible years of marriage. Today, two years ago to the minute, we said 'I do' and I couldn't be happier or more grateful to you for this life."
Now, here's where Somerhalder takes gushing to a whole new level. He wrote,
Thank you for being my best friend the hardest-working, kindest, most patient and most talented woman I've ever known. To you my love, I say that I know we will have so many of these we can't even count them. Partly because I'll be so old... I love you
Wow. Reed, you are one extremely lucky woman to have such a romantic and supportive husband.

Are you ready to move on? Here's what the Twilight star had to say about her hubby. "My guy, my man, my honey, my partner in this life, my better half in every way," the 28-year-old wrote. "At exactly this time two years ago today we walked hand in hand into the next chapter, our chapter, together." Her anniversary post could've stopped right there and I'm sure Somerhalder would've been satisfied. But, oh no, she had more amazing things to say about her one and only. The animal activist continued,

"Until you, I had no idea what could be." Really? Really? What is this, The Notebook? OK, I may be only a little jealous. In all seriousness, Reed and Somerhalder's partnership is something I admire immensely.
