BCBG Is Having One Heck Of A Closing Sale

Listen up, online shoppers. In case you haven't already heard, BCBG is closing down all of their stores, including its 175 US retail locations. But before you panic too much, there is a positive to the announcement though, and it's going to save you some cash. BCBG is currently having online and in-store sales. The deals won't be around forever though, so here's everything you need to know.

The news of BCBG closing comes just days after American Apparel announced it would be doing the same. Unlike American Apparel, which is shutting down entirely, BCBG has decided to close some of their doors to "focus on digital retail landscape", according to Allure. Basically, all of your online shopping has lessened the need for those brick and mortar locations.

“Like so many other great brands, BCBG has been negatively impacted by the growth in online sales and shifts in customer shopping patterns and, as a result, has too large a physical retail footprint,” the company said in a statement, according to Allure. “In order to remain viable, the company—like so many others in its industry—must realign its business to effectively compete in today’s shopping environment.”

Don't worry though, because you still have a great opportunity to snag all your favorite going out clothes for less. BCBG is having online and in-store sales at all US locations on everything from sale items to going out dresses.

The first, and largest, of the three sales is the 50 percent off clearance sale. You'll get half off of all Factory Clearance Styles from now until Jan. 31 at 2:59 a.m. ET. Although prices in this section are still in the $100 to $200 range, it's still some serious savings.

The next is the 30 percent off sale, which includes some Factory styles. You'll have to shop before Jan. 31 at 2:59 a.m. ET though. Basically, it's like getting runway ready clothing for way less. Although you should still expect to spend somewhere in the $100 range.

The last is the least amount of savings, but brings the prices down lower than the other two. From now until Jan. 23 at 2:59 a.m. ET, you can save 25 percent off all regular priced dresses and accessories.
