The star of The Big Bang Theory has pretty much been known for her light locks for most of her career, but her latest hair color is proof that even the blondest of blondes can go blonder. Revealed on her Instagram, Kaley Cuoco's new platinum hair is frosty perfection.

"Icy hair in the summer," Cuoco captioned the Instagram video showing off the front and side of her new 'do (accompanied by a snowflake emoji and a sun emoji, of course). Ironic, yes, but how better to cool off on a hot July day? Metaphorically, of course.

The cool hue was created by stylist Faye Woods, who's no stranger to Cuoco's hair — the TV star frequently posts evidence of Woods' styling skills. Woods also styles hair on the Big Bang Theory, and she used to work on Cuoco's 8 Simple Rules, according to her IMDb page.

It seems like Cuoco colors her hair fairly often, but she tagged Olaplex in her post, which might explain why her hair always looks so healthy. Olaplex is a treatment for damaged hair that stylists and stars swear by (the Kardashians are fans), and it helps reconnect broken disulfide bonds that start to break when you color your hair. Two steps are done in the salon while a third maintenance step is take-home, and from the looks of her shiny hair, she definitely doesn't forget about that last part.

Scrolling through Woods' and Cuoco's Instagrams, this is just the latest in a string of pretty dye jobs. A brief history...

Before this color, Cuoco went "sherbet" around June 15.

She had a slightly warmer version of her icy hair around June 1.

And in January, these perfectly blended babylights.

If there's one thing we learned here, it's that light blonde hair is actually a big category of colors (and Cuoco can rock pretty much every single one).
