Kat Von D Beauty Is Creating A Lock-It Blotting Powder

Kat Von D Beauty is constantly coming out with more shades, new products, and updated packaging. It's pretty incredible, really. But this time might just be the coolest yet. According to Kat Von D's Instagram, Kat Von D Beauty created a Lock-It Blotting Powder. Although the details haven't been released just yet, the packaging along will make you fall in love with this product.

Since the very first Lock-It product came out, the brand has been expanding the powder family. In addition to the foundation, concealer, and eye primer, the Lock-It collection has a brightening, setting, and foundation powder as well. So it only makes sense that the next step is a blotting powder. From the first look, it seems like this one is going to be incredible.

Instead of having the typical KVD stamped on the top, this one is meant to look like a wax seal. Kat Von D shared a photo of the compact on Instagram and it looks to be the perfect mix of classic logo with a new twist. At first glance, you'd think this compact was actually melting. Not to mention that it looks like the perfect size to just throw in your bag on-the-go.

There's no exact release date for the product just yet. Kat Von D did use the hashtag #comingsoon, which means that it's completel okay to get excited. If this powder is anything like the others, you can pretty much guarantee that you'll want to buy. Especially with summer, aka blotting season, coming up.

This is far from the first time that Kat Von D Beauty has updated their packaging. Just this month alone, Kat Von D shared a photo of her updated vegan logo that she designed as well as a label for her upcoming Saint and Sinner Candles. IMO, I love that the creator of the brand is so involved in everything from the products to the design.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see the inside of the product. Something tells me that this is far from the last Lock-It item on the brand's to-do list.
