Kat Von D is all in when it comes to her commitment to veganism and animal causes. The celeb tattoo artist and makeup maven even reformulated some of her products to be fully vegan. She is further involving animals with her brand by creating four more Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks. Those are a hero product for KVDB, thanks to the bomb and expansive color range and the long-lasting, comfortable matte wear. These new Everlasting Liquid Lippies were created for a charity initiative. You can look amazing while passively doing good and helping others with the Kat Von D Everlasting Farm Sanctuary Collection. Get ready, because it's coming!
According to posts on Kat Von D’s personal Instagram and Twitter feeds, in which she teased the new, richly brickish shade dubbed "Hilda" by wearing it on her own pout, there are four shades being produced and they will benefit Farm Sanctuary.
KVD reveals that she named this particular lipstick hue "Hilda" after the first animal the organization she is supporting rescued all the way back in 1986 — a sheep that was left for dead but nursed back to health and life. The moniker is an homage to Farm Sanctuary's essential efforts.
Have a look at the new Hilda Everlasting liquid lippie, which is a beautiful red x brown and supports a terrific cause.
She also noted that the official Kat Von D Beauty Insta will share sneak peeks of the other shades. So throw 'em a follow if you don't already do so. In addition to showing Kat Von D-evotees what Hilda looks like on lips IRL — what a gorg shade!— she also tipped 'em off to another color in the Farm Sanctuary lip crew. She said fans can expect a metallic foil midnight blue that fans will "go crazy about."
Metallic? Foil? Midnight blue? Oh, there is no way that can't be good! We already know it's for a good cause, which makes the Farm Sanctuary collection appealing. I can't wait to see the other three shades. The release dates, retail locations, and limited edition status are TBD as of press time. For now, we can just bask in the beauty of Hilda, both the shade and what she represents in terms of animal rescue.
