When you're a host of an award ceremony, fabulous wardrobe changes come with the territory. That's why it was no shock that Leslie Jones' 2017 BET Awards dresses were seriously gorgeous — it was just one flawless look after the next, making you wish you had a couple designer gowns of your own stowed away in your closet. The SNL cast member and Ghostbusters star was tasked as the MC, and it's an especially big milestone as it's her first major awards show gig. Even more importantly, BET was the first network where Jones was on TV, so she's viewing this as a kind of homecoming, which is exciting. And as any good homecoming involves, there's an amazing wardrobe involved to blow everyone away. There were all kinds of dresses and outfits, each one outshining the last.
The first look we saw Jones in was an emerald green floor-length number that was pure elegance. The neckline was a strappy halter, with a plunging decolletage that hit around mid-abs. It was a silky material, making the SNL star shimmer as she worked the red carpet - accessorized with diamond earrings and a delicate diamond bracelet, she resembled Old Hollywood glamour.
