You Need To See Lush's Jelly Bomb In Action

Stop what you're doing, because bath time just got a lot more interesting. According to the brand's social media posts, Lush created a bath bomb that turns water into jelly. Yes, you read that right. The brand's latest creation uses seaweed to create a bath experience like never before. The only downside is that the product is currently only sold in the UK. Here's everything you need to know before Jelly Bombs make the jump across the pond.

Forget everything you think you know about bath time, because this brand is about to blow your mind. Lush's Jelly Bombs will turn your water into, well, jelly. According to the Lush website, it's the same concept as a bath bomb but with a new ingredient — sodium alginate, which comes from a mineral-rich seaweed. Instead of just spewing out gorgeous colors and skin softening ingredients, it also gives of a jelly-like substance that will transform water into goo.

Unfortunately, the Jelly Bombs are only available in the UK as of July 22. According to comments posted on their Instagram, the products will eventually make an appearance worldwide as well. The website shows three different Jelly Bombs — Green Coconut, The Big Sleep, and Dark Arts.

Lush is known for their all natural, vegan, and cruelty free products, and this time is no different. According to the website, the brand is still using all-natural ingredients and all Jelly Bombs are vegan. Also like other Lush products, there are skin-softening and aromatic benefits to all of the Jelly Bombs.

"I’m always very interested in what we can create in terms of textures and colours in the water," Product inventor and digital director Jack Constantine says on the Lush website. "It’s all about creating something that is a bit of a spectacle and is unique whilst retaining benefits to the skin."

If this isn't a magical bath experience, then I don't know what is. As of July 22, there are no reviews yet on the Lush website, but I'm will to bet that this will be another fan favorite product.
