How Ashton & Mila Chose Their Son's Name Is Memorable

There is just something compelling about celebrity baby names. That is definitely the case here with these former That '70s Show stars. During Monday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ashton Kutcher said Mila Kunis named their son, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher. But what makes the name selection interesting is the way Kunis presented it to her husband. Let's just say that Donald Trump also unexpectedly came up in the same conversation.

As Kutcher explained to Ellen DeGeneres, "We’re on our way to date night, and Mila turns to me and she goes, 'So, I think Donald Trump's gonna become the President, and I think our baby’s name is Dimitri.'" That's quite the way to choose a name for your child — and an unforgettable one at that. It certainly threw Kutcher for a loop, because he couldn't even focus on the potential name for their future son. "I was like, 'Donald Trump's not going to win the…'" The Ranch actor continued, "And then I forgot about the name thing because I was like, 'Why do you think Donald Trump is going to win?' I’m telling you, she called it! It’s not even a joke."

The 39-year-old stopped thinking about their baby name chat, but the name Dimitri is something that stayed with him. So much so, he ended up suggesting the name to Kunis. "Two weeks later I got home from work, and for some reason the name just stuck in my head. I was like, 'I think Dimitri is the name of the baby.' And she was like, 'I know, right?' I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s it!'" He added, "So, that’s it. And then Trump became President."

Per Kutcher, Kunis called Trump's win about one or two months before he officially won the election. Apparently, she is just that good and whatever comes out of her mouth everyone should take to heart. Also, if the two ever have anymore kids, Kunis should probably name them as well. "Everything Mila said is right!" he declared. "But she’s my wife, so that’s just what it is. Everything she says is right."

I'm pretty sure neither Kutcher or Kunis will ever forget how they chose their second child's name. It will also make one funny story for Dimitri, whenever he's old enough to make sense of the words "president" and "Trump."
