Fear not, Game of Thrones fans. The premiere date may be a ways off still, but news is coming fast and thick from the new season. Entertainment Weekly has provided a sneak peek to the upcoming Season 7 of Game Of Thrones via new photos. These pictures seem to promise even more ice and certainly more fire than any season yet. Winter may be here, but so are the Dragons.

Game Of Thrones Season 7 is straying farther from the books than ever before, having surpassed the story covered in the A Song Of Ice And Fire series of novels that inspired it. Despite straying off the path of the books, the promo pics revealed from the upcoming season make hint that the show is going where the books always intended to go — with the forces of Ice (Jon Snow and company) and Fire (Daenerys and friends) doing battle for control of Westeros. Whether they're battling each other or they are fighting together has yet to be seen, but these teaser pictures will surely excite any Game of Thrones fans who have been waiting for these characters to stop being polite and start getting ready for battle. Check them out below:

Danerys' Dragons Are All Grown Up

Every season of Game Of Thrones has shown Danerys' dragons growing larger and larger, from the mere babies they were in the Season 1 finale to the epic beasts they are in Season 6. Drogon looks better and more fearsome than ever in Season 7's most electrifying picture yet.

Arya In Winterfell?

Arya was last seen at her most-murderous yet, slitting the throat of Walder Frey, the man who killed her mother and brother. Despite her impressive assassin skills, it seems that Arya is saddling up to go traveling, but where? The background of her image looks suspicious like Winterfell, could a Stark family reunion be awaiting fans? Or is Arya on her own, working on her list and having a brief undisguised moment atop her trust steed?

Jon Snow in Winterfell

This promo image is especially snowy in more ways than one. Jon Snow, newly minted King of the North seems to be either arriving or leaving Winterfell and doesn't seem to be particularly happy about whatever is happening. Then again, Jon Snow's never been one for smiling or happiness. Whatever Jon Snow is up to, there's no denying that his goth-winter look is absolutely on-point, especially with the matching horse.

The full set of Game Of Thrones Season 7 Photos, available at Entertainment Weekly's website, also showcase behind-the-scenes shots of Brienne of Tarth, Tormund Giantsbane, and a meeting between Sansa Stark and Littlefinger at the recently reclaimed Winterfell, as well as Jaime and Cersei at the Iron Throne. Everyone seems to be exactly where they were at the end of Season 6, but these photos still provide more than enough new Game Of Thrones content to get hyped about until the new season premieres on July 16, 2017 on HBO.
