Nick & Vanessa Make Out On 'DWTS'

Just like the Bachelor couples before them, Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are facing a lot of speculation and scrutiny. Not only are people questioning whether or not their relationship will last, but some haters don't even believe that they are actually dating. News flash: Viall and Grimaldi made out during his most recent Dancing With the Stars performance and appear to be very much together.

Sure, it was a little unusual to see a guy sashay over to his lady with no shirt on. And I get that the kiss was a little too drawn out and over the top, but come on — this is Dancing With the Stars and the whole show is absurdly over the top.

Unfortunately for them, Viall and Grimaldi are condemned no matter what they do. If they aren't super affectionate, people accuse them of not being into each other. If they make out in public, it's too much. They just can't win.

I've had this up-and-down relationship with Viall and I wasn't exactly #TeamNick during his Bachelor season, but I have to admit that the dance was good. It was a solid depiction of his journey as the Bachelor, and he had great chemistry with his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd. Viall has really come a long way and I'm just over everyone looking for the negative when it comes to him and his relationship.

The biggest issue I've heard about people from Bachelor couples going on Dancing With the Stars is that the winner spends a lot of time alone while the former Bachelor thrives in the spotlight, so I love how Grimaldi has been such a big part of this experience. She's not just sitting on the sidelines clapping for Viall; she is basically the third member of his team and I love it.

I don't really want to see anyone making out in public, but the dance was about Viall's Bachelor journey, so it made perfect sense to end with that make out session. And contrary to what a lot of people have been saying, they do seem into each other.

Can we just stop looking for an issue every time Viall and Grimaldi take a breath? Viall danced well and he and Murgatroyd have fire chemistry. What more could you want? Actually, don't answer that. I know how easily a conversation can snowball when Nick Viall is the topic at hand.
