Raise your glass to singer Pink, who recently gave birth to a baby boy. E! Online reported that Pink and husband Carey Hart welcomed their second child the day after Christmas. The couple already has a five-year-old daughter named Willow. On Wednesday, Pink made her baby news official by posting a photo of her little boy to Instagram. The cute photo has the new mom staring lovingly at her bundle of joy, who appears to be smiling back at her. Boy, is he tiny.

While he's all kinds of adorable in his little cap, what really caught my attention is his name: Jameson Moon Hart. It's an adorably unique moniker for the son of two very unique parents. It also turns out that Pink has been wanting to name her child "Jameson" for a while now — six years, to be exact.

In a 2010 interview with Access Hollywood, a then-pregnant Pink talked about possible baby names. Jameson was the top choice for a baby boy, and despite later having a little girl, it seems the name never lost its luster. The reason why is because the name had a lot of significance to her and her hubby. As she would put it, it was a "no brainer."

"My dad's name is James, and my brother's name is Jason," she said in the Access Hollywood interview. "[Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey's middle name is Jason, and Jameson—we like whiskey. That's a no brainer." Clearly, there was no question there were going to give their new little man a delicious Irish name. The story alone will an entertaining one for Jameson to tell his friends.

But where does the middle name "Moon" come from? It may come from astrology, something the Pink has been known to talk about. In fact, before giving birth to Willow, she tweeted, “New Moon in Gemini today a good time to start something new…. Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit." Maybe she was into the name too?

No matter what "Moon" means, it's clear Pink loves original names. In that same Access Hollywood interview, Pink admitted that she always liked unusual names, but Carey didn't quite share her affinity. “I’m all about meaning," she said, "and Carey feels like he had a girl’s hair cut and a girl’s name, and he doesn’t want kids to have a weird name."

It seems Pink may have convinced her husband to agree to the name Moon based on its meaning. Once again, this could point back to astrology, where it stands for your emotions or your inner mood. Perfect for the son of a singer. Clearly, this little boy is going to be out of this world.
