This Clear Handbag Solves The Most Annoying Part Of Going To A Pro Sports Game

There are two types of women you see at sporting events — the ones dressed in team gear and the ones who just dress up, al la The Kardashians. Either is acceptable, as long as you are having fun. But no matter who you are and what you wear, odds are that you have things you want to carry with you into the arena. Recent stadium and arena bag changes, however, make it hard to look your best and still meet the guidelines. That is, until now. Policy handbags designs see-through purses that combine style and function, so you don't have to compromise.

I was never a fan of sports growing up. The competitive edge just isn't for me, and neither is sitting in the cold to watch people tackle each other for hours. But that all changed when I started dating my boyfriend eight years ago. He played football all throughout high school and college, and even put in some time in the NFL.

Love makes you do crazy things. For me, that was turning into a sports lover.

As a new fan, I quickly found that there were certain things you can't take into a stadium. On top of squishing everything into the smallest bag you own, you then have to let a security guard go through everything you brought with you. Not a whole lot of fun. Thankfully, Policy handbags makes that ten times easier.

On top of the bags being clear, they also abide by all stadium size policies — hence the name. That gives you one less thing to worry about when you're walking into the event.

"The handbag policy is very new and continues to spread to other venues (even small concert venues) for security purposes and fan safety. With everything going on in the world right now, safety must come first, but we should still be able to feel like ourselves from head to toe," founder Jennifer Ugland tells Bustle. "I want to continue to offer a fashionable solution as the policy continues to evolve."

My first time testing the Policy bag was at an NBA basketball game. To put it simply, it makes life so much easier and stadium security a breeze.

"I designed the first collection based on my own personal needs. As much as I adore runway, I'm also a devoted football fan, so I used inspiration from my favorite trends in styling the bags while keeping the size restrictions in mind," says Ugland. "I knew exactly what I needed for my game day bag. There's room for my iPhone, lip gloss, and card holder slots, plus they all feature a secure closure for security."

And it was designed perfectly, if you ask me. Instead of having to open my bag and let the security guard poke around its contents with a stick (like the women behind me), he just picked up bag, rolled it around, and sent me on my way.

It made me feel more comfortable and it was definitely quicker. I can't tell you how many times that I've ben left behind by my group walking into a stadium because I had to get my bag searched. Not anymore!

After the game, I thought that this bag would go into storage until the next sporting event. That was until I was too lazy to change purses. I wasn't the biggest fan of showing everyone what I was carrying around, but I went with it.

The first major bonus happened on my car ride. I'm the type of person who hates to have their phone out when driving, but the annoying little buzz that I hear always makes me anxious to know who texted. Because this bag is see-through, I could see my phone alerts safely at a stoplight while not compromising my safety.

As if all that wasn't already enough, it gets better. The straps on the Policy bags can all be detached. The adorable little tassel on the side can also come off, if it's not your style. That means that when I'm not using the bag as a purse, I can use it as a travel bag, too.

This innovative, cruelty-free bag line is one to watch, if you ask me. Whether you're giving it as a gift to the sports-lover in your life or just looking for a versatile bag, you can't go wrong. Though stadium policies are strict, they don't have to affect your style.
