This ‘RHOBH’ Moment Chilled Ryan Murphy To His Core

One of the humans behind two popular (and consistently unsettling) horror TV series has some serious feelings about a certain Real Housewives of Beverly Hills moment. In a recent interview with E! News, Ryan Murphy weighed in on BunnyGate. Y'all, Murphy called the Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna face-off "dark as sh*t." Yes, the same person who introduced audiences to Twisty the Clown dubbed BunnyGate “dark as sh*t.”

Andy Cohen told E! News that the scene was so haunting, the American Horror Story and Scream Queens co-creater felt compelled to reach out. "I got an email from Ryan after it aired saying, ‘I couldn't have written anything creepier than that,’” the King of Bravo shared. Frankly, I don't think I could handle anything creepier than BunnyGate, so that's probably for the best.

On the second part of the RHOBH reunion, Richards announced that the plush rabbit toy Rinna gave to her grandson was in the building. After yanking the bunny from its hiding place behind the couch, Richards said the stuffed animal, which was still ensconced in the cellophane it came in, had bad energy, so she would not be passing it along to her daughter’s newborn son. Rinna let out a single tear, heard Richards out, excused herself from the reunion, and left the bunny on an equipment cart. It was nothing short of chilling.

"I also texted Lisa Rinna," Murphy told E! News, "and said, ‘Lisa Rinna, I'm still Team Rinna. And I feel so bad for you.' And she wrote back, ‘Thank you, I really need the support.' So she was sweet. The bunny moment was destroying. And I'm still Team Rinna all the way." He also predicted that the bunny will end up on display, on display, on display in the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse.

There you have it, folks. Murphy basically called BunnyGate scarier than anything that has ever happened, or will ever happen, on American Horror Story. Do you hear that, Fiona? Do you hear that, Dandy Mott? And do you hear that, Twisty the Clown?

You can’t hold a candle to BunnyGate.
