The review section of websites can make or break a purchase — especially in their beauty world. It's like talking to your friends about what you should buy. This review could just be the most epic of them all. According to a review from Sofia from Texas, Nyx Cosmetics' Matte Finish Setting Spray stayed on during a car crash. Yes, you read that right. This is not your conventional wear test.
Normally when people leave reviews, it's short and sweet about why they did or didn't like the product. This is not that. The five-star review left on Ulta's website says that Nyx's Matte Setting Spray lasted through a car crash, an ambulance ride, and a hospital stay. How's that for a reason to buy?
"I was hit by a car and through the hit itself, the rain, the ambulance ride, and the hours in the hospital my makeup stayed completely intact the entire time," the Ulta review reads. "When I was discharged from the hospital I had to take off my makeup and none of it had moved. if this setting spray can survive being hit by a car then that's all the proof I need and I'll definitely be buying it again."
First of all, I'm glad to hear that this makeup lover is alright. Since she left this epic review and is planning to buy more, I'm guessing that everything went well. Secondly, she must be one heck of a makeup lover to get out of the hospital and think to leave a review on this product.
The product is only $8 at Ulta, but can also be picked up for the same price at Target or Walmart. Who knew there was such an incredible products hiding at the drugstore? Other reviews left by Ulta users second the amazing stay-power of this products as well. Over all it has a 4.3 star rating on the website, but it sounds to me like it deserves a full five. A lot of Twitter users agree.
It's dedication on a whole new level.
Review to come.
But really, you good?
Could someone tell me who this Sofia is? I'd love to send her a big card and 75 more setting sprays.
