I love it when I find out that some of my favorite actors are really good friends behind the scenes. I love both Tilda Swinton and George Clooney, and they have been co-stars multiple times, including in Michael Clayton, Burn After Reading, and Hail, Caesar!, but I didn't know that they were close outside of their work. In the wake of Clooney being a new father to multiples, Swinton teased the actor for giving her a hard time about having twins herself in the, and it's a sweet look into their friendship.

During the Cinema Society screening of Netflix’s Okja in NYC on June 8, Swinton shared with Us Weekly that her friend Clooney was now getting a taste of his own medicine, after he previously joked around with her about her own sleepless nights after having twins. Swinton, mother to nine-year-old twins, Xavier and Honor, told Us, "I have twins myself and he always used to laugh about me looking so tired when my twins were small. And now I have the last laugh.”

I have no doubt that Swinton will be sure to rub it in his face, but obviously it is all in good fun. She continued, “He’s gonna need some sleeping pills."

I'm sure Clooney is having fun and taking in all the jokes that are coming his way. He was notoriously a bachelor for many years, so it's kind of wild that now he's not only married, but has twins. In fact, the Clooneys' birth announcement gave a hilarious insight into how the couple are looking at the situation with ease and humor. Their birth announcement read:

"This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days."

It's clear that Clooney has a laid-back attitude about welcoming his children, and it's adorable that his friends know that, too.
