Over 270,000 Instagram fans and followers can't be wrong. New York City-based sunglasses brand Topfoxx makes affordable and ultra unique sunglasses. That's why the startup brand has become so Instagram-loved so quickly.

Topfoxx launched back in 2015 and has been turning heads virally ever since. The company could veritably rise to the same heralded status as Aussie sunnies brand Quay. Quay is also adored by the internet due to its attractive prices and cool AF style.

Influencers and fashion lovers are taking notice of Topfoxx because its offerings are bold, modern, and super 'grammable. They're also way accessible. You won't go broke acquiring a pair or three, since these shades start at $39 and go up to $69. You can scoop up a trendy, inexpensive style, wear 'em to death, and not feel an ounce of remorse if you move on to a new pair in a few months.

There is an abundance of styles — from oversized to cat eye. The brand understands that fashionistas like choices and lots of 'em. Multiple styles are currently sold out on the site since demand is so high.

The materials and hardware are lightweight, making Topfoxx shades comfortable to wear. They offer UV 400 protection and come with a geometric, hard carrying case. Ultimately, the brand satisfies all the needs and wants for those who consider sunnies the essential finishing touch on an outfit.

Topfoxx's motto is, "Sunglasses NOT for your average girl." The brand encourages its customers to express themselves as they see fit. Its frames live up to the proclamation — they are anything but middle of the road. The fashion-forward silhouettes come in different finishes and with additional lens options. You can't help but feel confident and fashionable while wearing them.

Chloe is an extreme and funky frame. The outer edges are exposed, giving them an unusual and stylish shape. The negative space look totally slays.

Here's how all-black Topfoxx Chloe shades look IRL — and on my face. Full disclosure: The brand sent me a few pairs to get acquainted with its wares. As a sunglasses devotee who likes Daylight Savings Time because I get to wear my shades for longer periods of time, I am always on the hunt for new frames.

The rose gold Chloes are easily my faves. As is the case with most mirrored lenses, they are susceptible to scratches, smudges, fingerprints, and life. Therefore, you need to clean them often with a moist wipe or a dry cloth. It's also a good idea to store them in the provided case. But the Chloes are so worth the additional effort.

The Kittykat frame will give you all of the feline feels. Forget trying to master the cat eye flick with your black liquid eyeliner. These shades are the most legit cat eye you'll ever have.

The lightweight construction is one of my favorite qualities of Topfoxx shades. Pricier sunglasses are often made of thicker materials and put additional pressure on the nose and the temples. The Topfoxx fit is more relaxed.

With frames this cute, Topfoxx is well on its way to being your new favorite sunglasses brand.
