It looks like another beloved celebrity couple has called it quits. Us Weekly reported Tuesday that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have broken up after almost an entire decade together. Bustle has reached out to both of their reps for comment, but did not receive an immediate response. Fans of the two probably have a lot of questions, including were Bilson and Christensen married? That might not be the first question off the top of your head, but seeing as they've been together for so long, you probably just assumed they got married at some point. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

According to Us Weekly, they first met on the set of 2008's Jumper and got engaged December of that same year. However, as Bilson's rep confirmed to Us in August 2010, they called off their engagement. "Yes, the engagement is off, therefore, so is the wedding," her rep said. But, three months later, they reconciled, as reported by People. "They’re dating again," a friend of The O.C. star told the outlet.

Obviously, it turned out to be true, because in October 2014, they welcomed their daughter. "Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson welcome their daughter Briar Rose Christensen born on October 29, 2014," her rep told Us in November 2014. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. They are asking for privacy and subscribe to the No Kids Policy."

But, now, it seems the two have gone their separate ways. "She’s full-time back in L.A. He’s in Toronto," a source told Us of the alleged split. "They’ve been on the outs for a couple of months." The same insider added, "They are completely, officially done."

All of that said, it doesn't seem like they ever had a wedding. If so, they never revealed it publicly, which isn't surprising, since they've always chosen to keep most of the details about their relationship pretty private. They have also somehow managed to stay mostly off the radar that many celebrities can't avoid.

Although, Bilson has never had a problem gushing about Christensen on Instagram. As you can see above, she posted this throwback photo of the two in April, which looks to be from their Jumper days. Also, in April, she wished the Star Wars actor a happy birthday by writing, "Happy Birthday Handsome [heart emoji] we love you so much #10yearsandcounting #superdaddy #birthdayboy." In July 2015, she even shared a rare photo of the two kissing.

The last time she mentioned Christensen on Instagram was June 18 for Father's Day, where she shared a note from their daughter. "Dear Daddy, Please give me back my blue cup. A sheep baa. Happy daddy happy birthday. Goldfish." How cute is that? As for Christensen, he doesn't appear to have social media.

In August 2017, Bilson actually opened up quite a bit to Lapalme (via Just Jared), including what her future held as a mother. "I may have another child, that's still up in the air," she said. "I’m having so much fun with the one right now. I want to be happy and content. All the life BS that happens doesn’t matter. You want to be happy, you want your kid to be happy and you want everyone in your life to be healthy and happy."

After such a long history together, it's kind of crazy to think about how these two never seemingly took the next step in their relationship. Though, marriage definitely isn't for everyone, which might be the case here. Most likely, Bilson and Christensen did what was right for them as a couple and as parents, which is all that really matters.
