Now that's how you make an entrance. Beloved minimalist skincare and makeup brand Glossier debuted its new Cloud Paint gel x cream blush at the 2017 Oscars, as opposed to via its social media channels, according to Women's Wear Daily. Glossier put the brand new product in the hands of makeup artists, who were said to use the new blushes on A-listers, like Chrissy Teigen and Taraji P. Henson. Cloud Paint will come in four shades inspired by New York sunsets. When can you buy Glossier Cloud Paint blushes?
UPDATE: Glossier confirmed to Bustle that Cloud Paints launch on Mar. 2.
Currently, there is a landing page on the Glossier site, which touts the product as being "on the horizon" and "a new way to blush." You can sign up for email updates so you can be notified when it goes on sale. You can also follow the Glossier Instagram account for further updates... that is, if you don't already. But something tells me if you are reading this, you are already a proud member of the Glossier Nation.
Glossier's fearless leader Emily Weiss told WWD that the Glossier faithful has been requesting blush and sunscreen, with the latter being most asked for. She also teased that sunscreen is being launched later this year.
Doesn't it look like a creamy dream?!
The brand posted this pic on its Instagram. You can see the color-matched caps and the product name on the squeeze tube... even while behind the signature Glossier bubble packaging. Keep following the Glossier online properties for further details.
Want some more Cloud Paint intel via WWD? There is Puff, which is a light pink, and Haze, which is a berry. Joining those two are Beam, a coral peach, and Dusk, a brownish nude, per Weiss. She suggests using fingers to apply the Cloud Paints.
If you are super stoked about Glossier's first foray into blush, then head over to the Glossier site to sign up for the email updates. Knowledge is power and a Glossier blush will brighten your whole face.
