Starbucks Just Released Rose Gold Cups & They're Already Breaking Instagram

by Megan Grant

Similar to your words, actions, and how you choose to treat others, your Starbucks purchases are a reflection of you. The iconic Starbucks cup is something of a status symbol, that status being, I'm Really Cool And I Have Excellent Taste In Coffee. It's only natural, then, that the coffee giant has upped their cup game with some seriously snazzy merchandise: Starbucks is selling rose gold cups, so now you can add a little more sparkle and shine to your life — or at least to your morning coffee.

The new Starbucks Pink Cold Cups come in three options: Pink Stainless is the next in line in Sbux's collection of stainless cups, and it retails for $19.95. The Pink Sequins Plastic Cold Cup will cost you $18.95 but who cares because it's covered in pink sequins. Lastly, the Pink Glitter Cold Cup will add all kinds of sparkle and shine to your holidays, for a cool $14.95. You can purchase these cups at any licensed Starbucks location, and, according to a Starbucks rep, Starbucks licensed store locations inside grocery stores, airports, hotels and retailers like Target.

Your caffeine fix has never been this extra. Just imagine walking around town with one of these beauties. Why would you drink out of a regular, boring cup when you could be sipping from one of these?

Bear in mind that availability will vary by location, and these bad boys are probably already flying off the shelves; so grab one when you can. A Starbucks rep informed Bustle that these particular cups are available in stores and not online, although you can purchase other pink Starbucks cups on Amazon — like their pink stainless steel tumbler with a metal straw, the berry stainless steel cup, the Venti stainless steel cold cup in pink, and the hot pink tumbler. Not only are these pretty to look at, but remember that you're doing the environment a favor by not using cups that'll end up in the trash. Good for you.

Starbucks has plenty more in store for the holidays. Their 2017 holiday gifts include other festive cups, mugs, and tumblers; Rustic Bakery Ginger Babies; hot chocolate; and even a cookie decorating kit. You can see the complete Starbucks Holiday Gift Guide for this season here.

These aren't the only Starbucks cups making headlines lately. Although they were released at the beginning of November, this year's official holiday cup is still getting a lot of buzz. Since 1997, the infamous cup has been red; this year, Sbux decided to spice things up with its first ever color-in holiday cup, allowing you to add your own special touch.

Says Leanne Fremar, executive creative director for Starbucks, "This year’s cup is intentionally designed to encourage our customers to add their own color and illustrations. We love the idea of everyone making this year’s cup their own."

Truly, Starbucks started including customers long ago. For years, people have been decorating their cups; Starbucks responded by holding a contest for it. Then, last year, the red holiday cup came in 13 different designs created by customers themselves.

Don't forget, too, that your favorite holiday flavors are back — like the Chestnut Praline Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte, and Peppermint Mocha. They call this the most wonderful time of the year for a reason, folks; and that reason is Starbucks. And don't lie: I know you've been craving a Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. Same, guys. Same.

Nobody knows how to celebrate the holidays quite like everyone's favorite coffee shop. Starbucks is always doing things to surprise us; and the release of the new Pink Cold Cups happens to be the latest. Grab one before they sell out, enjoy a steaming Eggnog Latte, and kick off the holiday season in true Starbucks style.
