I live in a world of make-believe where there's a chance that I might one day end up with one of the unattainable A-Listers that I see on my screen. So, with that in mind, who is Chris Pine dating? I haven't heard anything about his romantic life for a minute, so who is he paired up with? It does appear that the actor is single for the moment, but I want to make sure I cover all my bases when checking this out. I don't want to move forward with an inaccurate daydream, know what I mean?
The last woman that Pine was linked to was actress and reality star Vail Bloom, who joined Bravo's Vanderpump Rules in Season 3 and has also shot episodes for shows like Castle and Hello Ladies. Pine began dating Bloom in May 2015, bu,t by June 2016, Bravo was reporting that "things got quiet on the Vail-Chris front after the news initially hit, but it was fun to watch while it lasted." So, it seems that the romance was short-lived.
Just to underline that point, in July 2016, Pine gave an interview to The Daily Telegraph that made it clear that he's emphasizing work over romantic relationships at the moment. When asked by the interviewer if he saw being a dad in his future, Pine responded:
Yeah, sure, I guess at some point. I’m really happy to be working right now and I get a lot of support and love from my family and friends. So I’m good for now.
That certainly sounds to me like the words of a single man, but he never even confirmed his rumored relationship with Vail Bloom one way or the other, so it's hard to know. In the past, he's been linked to everyone from Zoë Kravitz, to Olivia Munn, to models Dominique Piek and Iris Björk Jóhannesdóttir. But Pine rarely goes on the record about his romantic life, so he's a tricky beast to track in the romantic wild.
It is, of course, possible that he's currently dating and keeping things a little more private, but we're kind of at his mercy as far as finding out about it. He so effectively protects his personal life from the spotlight. Pine notoriously avoids social media, including Instagram, which is typically one of the best places to glean clues about a celebrity's romantic life.
I wish I could tell you more, but my future boyfriend is really invested in his privacy. It's one of the things I love most about him, so let's just trust that he'll tell us what his deal is when he's good and ready.
