Singer and actor Hailee Steinfeld first became widely known when she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 2010 film True Grit. Over the years Steinfeld has been rumored to be dating a few different men in Hollywood. Way back in 2011 it was rumored that she was dating Justin Bieber, who denied the romance saying that was Steinfeld was “too young.” In 2015 DNCE lead singer Joe Jonas tweeted that he and Steinfeld were “expecting” their “first” child, but turns out that was just an April Fools' joke. Then, later in 2015, rumors began swirling that Steinfeld was getting close with Charlie Puth after the two were photographed together at the American Music Awards, according to Teen.com.
When it comes to her career, Steinfeld has had several high-profile roles in movies like Pitch Perfect 2 and 2016’s The Edge of Seventeen, her performance in which led to a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. She’s also had numerous hit singles, and has collaborated with the likes of DNCE and Zedd. Steinfeld is reprising her role in Pitch Perfect 3, which is currently in production and is scheduled to be released in late 2017.
But when it comes to her personal life, back in January, Steinfeld cleared up all of the rumors when she introduced the world to her actual boyfriend, Cameron Smoller, by walking the red carpet together at the W Magazine Celebration of the Best Performances Portfolio event. However, if you follow Steinfeld or Smoller on social media then you probably knew about their budding romance long-before the two made their first public appearance together.
Steinfeld actually made it Insta official a few months ago when she posted this photo with Smoller, along with the caption "lova boy":
Since then, Steinfeld and Smoller have been giving all of us major 'ship goals with the adorable pics they share, like this one of their glamorous vacation in the Bahamas:
I mean, talk about a cute couple!
So, who exactly is Smoller and what does he do? Well, it’s surprisingly hard to find a lot of information about him. The 20-year-old used to play center middle on the Malibu High School boys soccer team, according to FamousBirthdays.com, and in an interview with Malibu Surfside News from 2015 Smoller said that he hoped to attend University of Oregon.
Oh, and proving that everyone in Hollywood is somehow connected — Smoller's older brother, Cully Smoller, is actually a longtime friend of Gigi Hadid. According to his LinkedIn profile he used to be Hadid’s personal assistant, but now works at Snapchat. Small world, I know!
