Is any engagement complete without Cher? Not according to Colton Haynes and his now fiancé, Jeff Leatham, who got engaged on a beach in Cabo San Lucas, New Mexico on Sunday. The engagement, which Haynes announced in an Instagram post, was an elaborate affair with fireworks and a recorded message from the Goddess of Pop. That's right, Cher led in to the engagement via a video message, making the proposal even more special. While Haynes is well known for his role as Jackson Whittemore on MTV's Teen Wolf, you may be wondering about who his fiancé is and how he got a hold of such a high-profile pop star for the engagement.

Haynes' future husband also work in Hollywood, but behind the scenes, and it's no wonder he has celeb friends. It's a pretty unconventional career, but Leatham is an incredibly successful celebrity floral designer. According to Leatham's site, he began working with floral arrangements as an employee at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Since then, his career has taken off, and his site lists many collaborations with luxury brands like Alexander McQueen, Burberry, and Givenchy. His celeb clientele is just as impressive, and he's worked with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Hillary Clinton. If you ever wondered who creates those incredible arrangements at high-profile events, there's a chance that Leatham is the designer.

Leatham has also worked on floral presentations for on-screen setups for shows like the Oprah Winfrey Show and many of Martha Stewart's lifestyle series. The most impressive part of Leatham's resume may be his contributions to art museums; the Dallas Museum of Art purchased one of his arrangements as a permanent addition to their collection and he's designed for events at the MoMa in New York.

Given Leatham's eye for beauty, it's no surprise that his proposal to Haynes was a grand affair. On Instagram, Haynes posted a picture from the event:

It's clear from the pic that Leatham pulled out all the stops to propose to Haynes, with candles, fireworks, and course, Cher. Haynes captioned the photo,

"Thank you @cher for the beautiful 'I got you babe' proposal lead in, you sounded incredible as always :) The most special night of my life @jeffleatham . #flowers #fireworks #fullmoon #cher ❤️❤️❤️💥💥💥💍❤️❤️"

Leatham also posted a shot from the night, celebrating the engagement with a picturesque shot of the two smooching in the ocean:

Leatham wrote,

"We are so very humbled and thankful for everyone's Amazing well wishes and love for our Engagement it is so inspiring - Thank you all so much for your Love and Support !! We thank our lucky Stars everyday like the ones above our heads - 💫💫💫💙💙💙💙💫💫💫- #LoveWins - #Happiness - #Whatmoviesaremadeof - @coltonlhaynes".

The snap does certainly look like the setting of a film, and it's a testimony to Leatham's perfectly planned romantic night.

The engagement isn't the first time Leatham has used his creative eye to woo Haynes, and on Valentines day the florist put together a special surprise. On Insta, Haynes shared a shot from the couple's evening together, and it included a heart shaped arrangement of rose petals. The set up also had balloons and candles, completing the romantic scene.

Leatham's own Instagram shows his passion for flowers. It's full of his own arrangements and shots from spectacular event decorations he helped curate. He channels this love into thoughtful and beautiful arrangements designed especially for Haynes, and it's just the sweetest way he could to show how much he cares for the actor.

With such a beautiful, floral-filled engagement, I can't help but look forward to that wedding. It's sure to be a grand affair, and I think we all know who is going to be in charge of the flowers.
