Here's Your Love Horoscope For The Weekend

We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based astrologer of, to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: your weekend love horoscope for Jan. 13-14 2018.

There may be some sobering truths to deal with when it comes to love this weekend, thanks to the mashup of planets in truth-seeking Sagittarius and realistic Capricorn. Relationships could get a little rocky on Saturday, when Venus in committed Capricorn squares off with freedom loving Uranus in Aries. Under this combination, some of us could decide to exit a relationship that lacks growth and stability, while the rest of us could experience an a-ha moment of sorts when it comes to figuring out what we really want in love.

With multiple planets in Capricorn now, the goal is to have substance and consistency rather than settling for anything that comes our way. By Sunday, the Moon moves into Capricorn in preparation for Tuesday's New Moon. As such, this weekend may not necessarily be a time for starting anything new when it comes to relationships but rather for letting go, cleaning house, and making the commitment to improve or strengthen what we already have. With the Moon syncing up with serious Saturn on Sunday evening, we're called to face any relationship issues that we've been avoiding and get to work in addressing them.

Read below to find out what this weekend's stars mean for your love life.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You may find yourself feeling caught between wanting to settle down and wanting to maintain your freedom. Though while you don't need to jump into anything you're not ready for or force yourself to follow others' expectations of you, you do need to acknowledge your need for intimacy. Don't skimp.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Tina Gona/Bustle

Something could be revealed to this weekend that may burst your bubble when it comes to love and relationships. Though perhaps this information is pushing you to challenge your beliefs about love. There's a big, wide world out there and there's not a one-size-fits-all approach to partnership. Think differently.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

A partnership could come up for scrutiny this weekend, which could force you to rethink whether you can still see a certain someone in your future. If they're not offering you the substance and stability you need, there's a possibility you'll cut this person loose. If single, don't lose hope. Be patient.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

When it comes to love and partnership, are you following a cookie-cutter template or are you seeking the kind of relationship that's right for you and you alone? If the answer is the former, it's time to reexamine what you really want. Also, there's no need to rush into being tied down. Take your time.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You might be dealing with someone who says all the right things, but when you really look at it, how much do you really know about this person? Do you both even want the same things? Instead of trying to pull lovers up to where you are, give them a chance to meet you. If they can't keep up? Goodbye.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

While your love life might be taking off, there's no need to lock yourself in to anyone in particular right now. Give yourself some space to just have fun again before getting too hot and too heavy too soon. This is especially the case if you've recently come out of a relationship. Figure out what feels good to you.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You and your love may not be on the same page this weekend, which could bring up some deep-seated issues between you that need sorting out. No sense in avoiding them though. Don't fret though because solutions are afoot. Single? Don't let family put demands on your love life. Also, casual won't cut it.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You may need to reassess what your values are when it comes to love and relationships. It could be that what you thought you wanted no longer applies anymore. This is a good thing because this is how you keep from letting yourself grow stagnant. The clarity you seek is available to you.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

If you want something more for yourself when it comes to your love life then you have to be willing to hold yourself accountable in getting it, even if it means that your well is dry for the time being. Don't settle for unsatisfying connections when you can have something much better. Hold out for quality.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

With nearly half the cosmos in your sign this weekend, it will be impossible for people to ignore you, which means you shouldn't have an issue in attracting potential love matches. However, if you truly want to connect with someone, you'll have to work on releasing the past. Don't let old stuff get in the way.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

Tina Gong/Bustle

If you've been dating someone secretly, the cat could come out of the bag this weekend, or you could find out something about this person that could shock you. Though forcing this relationship into the light could help you with facing something you've been avoiding. Don't let your fears get in the way of truth.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

If you're pinning your hope onto having a deeper relationship with someone that may only be looking at you with something short-term in mind, then you may have a sobering realization this weekend about the state of the relationship. Though fear not as it could push you to put yourself first.
