Here's Your Love Horoscope For The Weekend

Jacob Lund/Fotolia

We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based astrologer of MyLifeCreated.com, to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: your weekend love horoscope for July 1-2, 2017.

The Moon remains in romantic Libra for most of the weekend, which means mating and relating will be the topic that concerns us most. However, things may be a bit bumpy as the Libra Moon squares off with Mars and Mercury in sensitive Cancer and Pluto in stern Capricorn for much of Saturday. The downside to these aspects is that it can trigger arguments, miscommunication, and a desire to control or manipulate others; which can seriously hamper any romantic feelings. However, the upside to this kind of cosmic combination is that it pushes us to address the challenges within our love lives, so we can have the happy, healthy relationships we really want. When the Libra Moon and realistic Saturn in Sagittarius meet up late Saturday night, a heart-to-heart talk could help us with remaining objective, sorting things out, and turning things around for the better.

The meetup between the Libra Moon and Uranus in Aries could be helpful when it comes to a relationship breakthrough or helping those of us looking for love to start with a clean slate.

Though we won't be entirely out of the woods yet as there's a meeting between Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn on Sunday morning that can turn up the intensity in a way that could leave us feeling angsty and hypersensitive. While this combo may make the "bad boy" and "bad girl" types a super sexy option, we may want to stay clear of them for now so as not to get burned. Still, the meetup between the Libra Moon and Uranus in Aries later in the morning could be helpful when it comes to a relationship breakthrough or helping those of us looking for love to start with a clean slate. When the Moon moves into the deep waters of Scorpio by Sunday afternoon, the intensity continues, proving that love isn't for the faint of heart.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Some old feelings could come bubbling up this weekend between you and your partner which could have you seeing red. However, getting to the root to the issue could not only help to improve the relationship but it could help to improve you too. It's time to work on putting the past behind you.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Tina Gona/Bustle

You could get some info this weekend that you may not like, which could have you questioning whether love (or your idea) of it will ever work out the way you want. It's not that you can't have what you want, you may just need to be a bit more realistic, or at the very least, unafraid of emotional honesty.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You may be interested in someone that seems fun, charming, and engaging but you may need to take a deeper look. Does this person align with your personal values and what you want? Is this a person of substance? A playful partner doesn't have to be mutually exclusive from a responsible one.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Tensions may be simmering between you and your bae this weekend as you both may be trying to control the situation at hand instead of taking the time to compromise and hear each other out. If things seem irreconcilable, maybe a relationship coach can help. Either way, renegotiate those boundaries.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

If things are not going the way that you want them to where your romantic life is concerned, it may be time that you address some of the fears you have around relationships and partnering. For example, it's OK to let go of the past. You have the power to write a new narrative of what love means for you.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You and someone you're interested in may not be seeing eye to eye this weekend on what you both may want for the future. While it may be easy for you to try and convince them to see or do things your way, it's best not to force it. At the end of the day, the only one you're responsible for is you.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Work or family demands may be getting in the way of your love life this weekend, which could have you wondering if you should even bother with in the first place. However, if you want a relationship you'll have to put in the work for it. Coupled Libras can smooth things over with bae with a talk.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

It may be hard to tell what's fact or fiction when it comes to your lover or your love life this week, which could have you confused about which direction to go. While it may be easier to try to ignore what's in front of you, it's important that you stick to your values/non-negotiables in terms of what you want.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Is someone demanding more emotional energy from you than you can afford to give right now? Know that manipulation and neediness has nothing to do with love. At the same time, when it comes to intimacy, it's best to make sure that you and your potential bae are on the same page. Guard your heart.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Someone you're interested in may look good on paper but when it comes to what you need at a deeper level, can this person hold up to that? Not that you shouldn't have ambitions when it comes to your love life, but you shouldn't try to force something that isn't mean to be either. Overall, it's not about control.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You may have ideals about love that may be tested this weekend to see if they really hold up to pressure as true intimacy often calls for a willingness from both parties to actually do the work it takes to keep the relationship afloat. Overall, the message you're getting is that it's OK to share the workload.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You've never been the one that's been into superficial relationships, though sometimes you can sacrifice your need for intimacy for the illusion of something deeper. This weekend, you're pushed to look at your love life more realistically so you can actually get what you need. Don't believe the hype.
