Cara is a New York-based entertainment journalist with a specific focus on theater.
Cara began her career as an intern at Spy magazine, where she engaged in such activities as calling up gossip columnists and asking them how many “X”s they had in their Rolodex. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Time Out New York, The Miami Herald, Ms., Tiger Beat, Spin, Encore, The Forward, Soap Opera Weekly, The Dramatist, American Theatre, BroadwayWorld, and more.
When Cara is not absorbing entertainment or writing, she spends a lot of time volunteering. She is Community Outreach Chair for the Wellesley College New York Club, coordinating the club’s volunteer efforts. Cara lives on her own in Chelsea and enjoys trying new desserts and hanging out with friends, but her favorite activity is trick-or-treating with her nephews every Halloween.
