Brunch is really the best of both worlds: You get to enjoy breakfast (or sometimes lunch) all after sleeping in. But it’s more than just a late-morning meal; it’s a major social event. Where else can you show off your most stylish outfits, all while enjoying time with friends and family? For TikToker and fashion personality Kayla Jane Jones, brunch is the ultimate dress-to-impress occasion. “Half of the appeal of going to brunch (especially in the spring) is putting together a fun outfit,” she says. “I love getting dressed up, and I use my brunch time to try different styles because I know my girls will appreciate the look!”

To find the right pieces for dreamy brunch looks, Jones turns to Macy’s. From ultra-chic trench coats and fun platform sandals to can’t-miss white bags, the retailer has everything Jones needs to curate her ideal spring wardrobe. But Macy’s also serves as a source of inspiration for anyone looking to be bold and experiment with their wardrobe this season — truly owning their style in every way. “I really want my girls to know that, like many of them, I’ve let my insecurities about my body hold me back when it comes to fashion. I also want them to know that we’re not bringing that energy into Spring 2023,” says Jones. “Our bodies are beautiful, resilient, and perfect the way they are today.” By sharing her videos, Jones says she hopes her followers will feel uplifted and confident. Getting inspired by Jones’s outfit optimism is the next-best thing to meeting her for brunch. Ahead, she shares her favorite Macy’s spring styles and how she loves to wear them, plus tips on developing your own personal style.

Bright whites are a sign that summer is just around the corner. Jones paired crisp white jeans with a classic white tank and colorful boho-chic kimono. Heels and statement earrings finish the ensemble for a look that’s both casual and show-stopping — all at the same time.

Laid-Back Layers

Spring weather can be a little unpredictable, so layering — a.k.a. a good coat — is key. “I love being able to layer, while also showing off the curves,” says Jones. Her signature spring style? Classic jeans paired with a funky blouse and a trench coat. For shoes, embrace a platform heel, especially if you’ve been tired of wearing boots after months of cold weather, like Jones.

Classic With A Twist

Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean A-line floral dresses are your only option. Case in point: Jones opted for a stunning side-tie tulip dress and sparkly heels. For her, spring is a great time to experiment with styles you’ve never worn before. “Personal style is personal for a reason,” explains Jones. “It’s all about trial and error, and finding what you like and what you feel best in. My advice would be to find a couple of looks that you would never think to wear and to use them as inspiration. Once you feel confident and you’re like, ‘Hey, I do look good in this!,’ tweak some elements to better align with your vibe!”
