Though the Met Gala’s fashion always obviously gets a lot of attention, the manicures are not to be missed. For this year, the celebrities and fashion glitterati made sure they nailed the looks head to fingertips — behold, the top nail art looks at 2021’s Met Gala.

Pose star MJ Rodriguez opted for a classic red manicure but with the added drama of length and gold 3D adornments.

Saweetie’s Met Gala look was all glamour and glitz, and her nails were no less show-stopping. Her lengthy tips had a chrome finish topped with jeweled accents.

Megan Thee Stallion went for a subtle upgrade of a classic: She rocked an ombre square-tipped manicure in a shade of pink evocative of the famous Essie Ballet Slippers.

Kim Petras extended her horse girl look to her fingertips: To complement her accented bust, she wore an extra-lengthy mani executed by nail artist Juan Alvear using Christian Louboutin products. For the nail art, Alvear hand-sculpted horseshoe and medallion appliques.
