Truth be told, I’m admittedly a bit wellness obsessed. I’ll try anything once, be it gummy vitamins, CBD patches, or splurge-y fitness devices that promise the world. Among all the tries are plenty of clear misses and lots of decent products worth the spend. A handful of items, however, land in the upper echelon and earn themselves the “I’d buy it over and over again.”

The product I’m about to tell you about, rmdy, is one of those. I recently put this chewable multivitamin to the test for about two weeks to see if it’d live up to its claim to provide “immediate relief from bloating and stomach discomfort,” while simultaneously aiding in overall gut health.

Seeing as how the supplement was formulated by fancy doctors at Yale and the University of California-San Francisco — and that it had already amassed lots of positive reviews — I was pretty excited to see how it’d fare. Also, I was really holding out on the hope that one tasty supplement could help put my sensitive stomach at ease so I could better enjoy my favorite foods. So, I officially set out to take the supplements every single day for about two weeks.

A Quick Note About My Stomach

Before I dive into my personal experience and how the supplement works, let me take a moment to acquaint you with my very own bloating and digestive issues. (I won't go full TMI, but these details are important!)

As long as I can remember, I have had a very sensitive stomach. I’m the person who tends to get an upset tummy on an otherwise luxurious vacay, and I feel like if I consume a single bread crumb, grain of salt, or splash of milk in my coffee I balloon in an instant.

What’s worse is that when I eat healthy foods I really enjoy (like Brussels sprouts, broccoli, beans, and veggie-loaded salads) my stomach starts doing flip flops. Let’s just say it’s not pretty and leave it at that.

Apparently — and this was a relief to discover — I’m not alone. Over 65 percent of adults deal with digestive discomfort, and 50 percent of Americans have an “it’s complicated” relationship with their food.

rmdy, Explained

As mentioned above, rmdy’s biggest claim is that it relieves both bloating and digestive discomfort, and improves gut health. This is all thanks to a proprietary blend of digestive enzymes, including Lactase and Alpha Galactosidase, that are clinically tested and proven to nix gas and bloating that can occur when you eat dairy, veggies, complex fibers, and carbohydrates.

The formula also contains well-researched probiotics (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Bifidobacterium lactis HN019, Bifidobacterium longum BI-05, Bacillus subtilis, to be all intellectual and specific), as well as a blend of powerful botanicals (ginger, fennel, and peppermint) known to help soothe upset stomachs.

83% of those who used rmdy were more likely to experience less bloating and 92% were more likely to experience help with digestion and less post-meal discomfort.

This unique combination of ingredients is what sets rmdy apart from other anti-bloat and digestive supplements, which usually feature only one or two of these ingredients versus all of the above. In that sense, it’s more of a comprehensive formulation that targets digestive upset from several different angles.

You’re supposed to take one or two of the chewable supplements with your largest meal of the day — either right before or after. And here’s the wildest part: the anti-bloating technology is supposed to work immediately.

In fact, rmdy partnered with a third-party organization to conduct a double-blind, placebo-controlled study on the effectiveness of their product. The study showed that 83 percent of those who used rmdy were more likely to experience less bloating and 92 percent were more likely to experience help with digestion and less post-meal discomfort. Sounds crazy, right? So naturally, I had to try.

My Experience Using Rmdy

As with most new products I try, I was really eager to give this supplement a fair shake and hopeful it’d live up to the brand claims and user hype. I already alluded to the fact that I’d buy rmdy again, so you probably know right where we’re headed: success!

The first day that I used rmdy I wasn’t sure if I could tell that big of a difference. I had taken one with my lunch, which is my biggest meal of the day. Everything was OK — no major stomach upset — but I wasn’t blown away by any big changes. I repeated the same process the next day and had a similar experience.

The following day, however, I decided to take two of the supplements instead of one, especially since I was having one of my favorite veggie-loaded salads topped with baked salmon. That’s when I really noticed an improvement.

As tasty and healthy as that salad is, I almost always experience discomfort in the hour or two that follows. That day, though, my stomach stayed content and I felt great. I’ve had similar experiences on the other days that followed.

For me, the best part about taking rmdy is being able to enjoy meals and foods I love without having to deal with discomfort, digestive issues, or embarrassing gas. The anti-bloat effect goes hand-in-hand with the above, and I have definitely noticed that my tummy doesn’t puff up as much as usual.

The Final Verdict

rmdy really did work for me. Your mileage may vary, but I definitely plan to repurchase this gut and digestion multivitamin, and I would recommend it to others who often experience digestive upset and bloating. Veggie-loaded salads and carbs, here I come!
