The full Karshashian-ization of the planet continues this fall on E!, when their new reality series Dash Dolls premieres. An 8-episode first season (of many, I hope) will focus on the ladies' DASH Hollywood boutique and its young, stylish, and well-connected employees. The pressure is on, with the network promising all the fashionable shenanigans we'd expect from employees working for "three famous and often demanding bosses, while juggling romances, parties, family drama and other career aspirations." But, what about Kourtney's recent ex and resident Keeping Up With The Kardashians snark-machine? Will Scott Disick make an appearance on Dash Dolls ?
Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian all have producing credits on the show along with mom Kris Jenner. And, even though the Kardashians themselves are not the lead personalities on this one, I have little doubt that they'll all be dropping in from time to time. But, as for Scott? Details on that are scant right now, as the project is still in the early stages. There isn't a premiere date, and no press tours or interviews have shed any definitive light on exactly what and who Dash Dolls will feature in its inaugural run. But, based on what I do know about Disick, the family he was a part of for so long, and other Dash details, I can try to make a guess. And, look, eighth grade math teacher: I'm showing my work.
He Will: The Timing Is Right
Kim was spotted filming an episode of the series (and looking fabulous) back in late May. The news of Disick and Kourtney's un-coupling didn't break until early July. Even the Kardashians have some closed doors, so it is possible that Kourtney and Scott had been separated privately before the show began filming. But, if they weren't, then there's every possibility that the two might have stopped by DASH together.
He Won't: Too Many Degrees Of Separation
While the amount of camera-ready Dash Dolls is high and many of them will likely play a role in the show, the main focus is on Malika and Khadijah Haqq. Of all the sisters, the twins are closest with Khloe, not Kourtney. Then again, Khloe recently told Complex that she and Disick are nothing short of "the best of friends." So maybe the chain of association is shorter than you'd think.
He Will: It's Going To Be A Hit
Disick's personality is his business, and appearing on another high-profile E! show could only help him gain more followers, fans, and money-making ventures.
He Won't: He Wants To Branch Out On His Own
Even if the breakup with Kourtney wasn't a thing yet, Disick may have wanted to begin distancing himself from the Kardashian family in favor of promoting his own projects. He can't ride their coattails forever.
He Will: He's A Clothes Horse
Kourtney's ex-man likes his fashion. (Check out the gorgeous leather jacket he posted on Instagram recently.) He's a constant presence on style blogs and dudes everywhere have been inspired by his look. A show about fashion? He's probably there.
He Won't: DASH Doesn't Have A Guy Section
DASH is a contemporary women's boutique, and has yet to corner the market on men's fashion. Though, gendered clothing labels are more of a suggestion than a rule. Apparently Harry Styles wears my favorite brand and style of denim, and he looks better in them than I do. If anyone can rock the Kardashian line, it's Scott.
The Verdict
The points of connection are too many to bet on Scott Disick not appearing on Dash Dolls. While his future with the Kardashian women remains uncertain, hopefully this series captures one last picture of the good ol' days.
