More Rap-Themed Fashion Like Goop's Clutches

When I first heard of the hip-hop themed clutches created Goop in collaboration with Edie Parker, I couldn't help but LOL just a little. I mean, who knew Gwyneth Paltrow was such a die-hard rap fan? But then I laid eyes on the shiny beauties, and decided I absolutely needed to have one. She may not have a ton of experience in the hip-hop world, but Paltrow definitely knows a thing or two about style.

The cool box clutches feature the names of some of the genre's biggest legends, including Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, and Eminem — it seems like Paltrow and I have very similar taste in music. I have got to give her props for pushing the limit and trying something out-of-the-box. This eccentric project is definitely earning her some major street credit, at least in my book.

The 42-year-old combined the music moguls by era, it appears. HOV and Shady share the black shiny design, while Biggie and Tupac are both on the blue clutch, which is kind of strange since they didn't exactly get along. I'd so kill for a HOV-engraved clutch, but at a hefty price tag of $1,695 that is simply not an option for me (as for most of us 20-something working gals).
