'RHONY' Star LuAnn De Lesseps' Latest Business Ventures Mean We Can All Live Like The Countess
I have been a devoted Real Housewives fan from the beginning. More than anything, I would love to be a Real Housewife myself, but sadly Bravo has not hit me up with the opportunity — yet. In the meantime, one of the best ways to feel like a Real Housewife is to use their many, many products. If I had to choose one Housewife in particular who I would love to live like, it would have to be LuAnn de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City , and there is hope if I want to at least feel like the Countess. On July 29, at the launch of Ramona Singer's book, Life on the Ramona Coaster, LuAnn de Lesseps says of her newest venture, "I have a vodka line coming out: the Countess Collection of Vodkas. It's infused vodkas." I feel like a little liquid encouragement is a great first step to making me think I am the Countess myself!
What do we have to look forward to from the Countess Collection of Vodkas? "There's going to be a dirty martini. We're doing a dirty vodka which is great," LuAnn says. "There's pear, lemon, and olive." This makes me want to have a Housewives-themed gathering and do a tasting of my own.
LuAnn is really building up her personal brand these days and is selling a lot more than vodka. Aside from drinking like the Countess, you can emulate her style by wearing clothes from her line. LuAnn shares how fans can get their hands on pieces from The Countess Collection, saying, "It's amazing. It's on Evine.com and it's going really well. I'm doing a show August 25 with the apparel." At the event, LuAnn wears a fierce red dress from her own collection, so it's nice to know that she's not just slapping her name on a label; she designs clothes that she actually wears herself. The best thing is that LuAnn's dress retails for under $60 — pretty affordable for us civilians.
I know what you're thinking, when it comes to LuAnn's style the first thing that comes to mind are those amazing statement necklaces, so where can we get our hands on those? Thankfully, she will be selling her own jewelry soon. LuAnn says of this logical move for her brand, "I'm launching jewelry in the fall. You know my statement pieces. It took me a while, but here I am." So, now we can look like the Countess and drink like her. The only thing missing is that signature class and sass.
The best way to really channel your inner LuAnn de Lesseps is to listen to her music. All of her songs are endearing and infectious. If you're a fan of the show, you know how she feels about violations of the sacred rules of friendship, so it's no surprise that her latest single is titled "Girl Code." LuAnn says of her latest music, "I love that song so much. I just came from shooting the music video. You're going to love it."
LuAnn de Lesseps is really doing it all these days and the best part is that we all get to join in on the Countess culture. We can drink like her, dress like her, and sing along to her music. Of course, there's only one LuAnn de Lesseps in this world, but we can all live life like the Countess.
